Thirty years ago, Carolyn and Clarence Henderson had a vision. As dedicated parents and foster parents themselves, they understood the importance of a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for young children to thrive. This inspired them to transform their home into a welcoming and safe space, giving rise to Community Academy Learning Center.
From these humble beginnings, Carolyn and Clarence infused their dedication, love, and passion into every corner of CALC. The homemade warmth, combined with an unwavering commitment to excellence, quickly set their daycare apart as a trusted haven for families in Dallas.

Over the years, CALC has expanded far beyond its original setting while keeping its core values intact. We offer a range of programs designed to cater to the diverse needs of our community’s children:

- Preschool Programs: Engaging, age-appropriate curriculum focusing on kindergarten readiness.
